The Power of a Tornado in Your Car!

Author: James Russell
Invented in 1992 by a Korean automotive engineer, the Tornado Fuel Saver is a stainless steel, non-moving air-swirling device that can increase fuel efficiency and horsepower of a vehicle. It is fitted inside the air filter housing in carbureted vehicles or inside the air intake/air inlet hose in fuel-injected vehicles. This fuel-saving accessory works as an air channeling tool that generates a swirling air motion, enabling the air to move faster and more efficiently as it whirls the air around corners and bends. The resulting swirling air effect helps atomize the fuel inside the engineleading to an even fuel/air mixturethus, the more efficient fuel mileage and performance.

The key to the Tornado Fuel Saver's quiet gas-saving feature is better fuel atomization. This has been confirmed by a road test performed at an emission lab licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency. This has showed an increase in gas mileage by seven to twenty four (7-24) per cent. Another testing method using a 'dynamometer' (a machine that measures the power output of a running vehicle on rollers to allow its wheels to spin as though they were rolling along a pavement) further verified that an additional four to thirteen (4-13) boost in horsepower was attained by a vehicle outfitted with the device.

The Tornado Fuel Saver has also proven to be a reliable and durable aftermarket car accessory as it has no electronic components or moving parts and does not need to be adjusted or lubricated. No maintenance is absolutely necessary. It is made from stainless steel and its ideal placement in the vehicle's mechanism ensures that it is not exposed to harsh elements or subjected to friction. The Tornado Fuel Saver will not rust or corrode and will even last as long as the vehicle itself.

The Tornado Fuel Saver can be easily fitted to most vehicle types and installation usually takes less than 10 minutes. Included in the Tornado kit are supplemental installation guides that provide the vehicle owner more helpful information for special cases that require additional attention. The unit fits in the air hose between the intake manifold and the air flow meter for electronically fuel injected vehicles. It even works with cars installed with after-market intake systems and consequently generates better results in fuel mileage savings and HP gains than vehicles equipped with factory-fitted intake systems. Installing Tornado Fuel Saver will not void a vehicle's warranty as it is unlawful for car manufacturers to void their manufacturer's warranty for installing an after-market device. Because the product carries the CARB number, the warranty is still considered valid.

The makers of the Tornado Fuel Saver has provided a quick installation guide complete with photographs to help the average car owner to easily outfit his/her vehicle with the product. The outfitting process can be done in three easy steps. For injected engines, the first step is to remove the air inlet hose (usually found between the throttle body and air filter box). Then, install the unit ensuring that it is fitted snugly. Lastly, the hose must then be replaced and the clamp secured. For carbureted engines, the first step involves removing the wing nut from the air cleaner housing. Then, the top of the housing must be removed to facilitate the installation of the unit. To finish it off, the air cleaner top cover must be fastened tightly over the air cleaner top.
