It's almost as if we expect the right person to come knocking on our front door one day and introduce themselves. I remember sitting in a Sunday School class and being told that we did not have to look for the right one for us, because one day we would look across the church and there they would be. Yeah right. I think we get this notion from fairy tales, popular songs, romance novels and movies. The results of this myth We passively sit around, waiting for the right person to show up, complaining the whole entire time. What to do insteadand what you do not want. Scout out the world around you for what you want. I think you need to interview a lot of people for the position you are trying to fill. |
