When you use a phone at work or at home do you use a head set? Do you think it looks weird? Do you think other people will laugh at you?

When you use a head set especially at work you are a much more productive employee. You can talk on the phone, use your computer and write all at the same time.

When you talk on the phone and do not use a head set you have to bend your neck at a strange angle. This will eventually result in pain if you do not already have neck pain.

PAIN! PAIN! PAIN! PAIN! PAIN! PAIN!

Juggling a phone, pen and trying to type on a computer all at the same time can cause stress.

So I ask you. Why would you not want to avoid the pain or the possibility of pain in your neck by just using a head set?

The first time I was introduced to a head set I said the same thing. I thought it would look weird. My job at the time was about 90% telephone work. I worked at my job as a customer service representative for about a month. My supervisor told me daily to use my head set. I was stubborn and thought I knew better.

Finally, one day I used my assigned head set and now I can not work without one. I could not believe the difference it made in the way I handled my job. It made it so much easier trying to write and key on a computer all at the same time.

If you do not have any head sets in your office ASK YOUR SUPERVISOR TO ORDER ONE FOR YOU.

It is just a suggestion. I do not like to see people work in pain needlessly.
